SEPA training course buddy
Although I have been shooting a good bit for a few years and carrying everyday for about 2, I have never taken a training course and have been recently wanting to do so. I think I will take advantage of the summer weather and do it this summer. I would like to start with an intermediate type 2-day tactical pistol course somewhere with an hour or two drive.
None of my friends/family enjoy shooting like I do, so if anyone is in the same boat as me and wants to buddy-up let me know, it woul be nice to have someone to drive out and bullshit with. Also, if anybody has taken or will be taking a course that might fits my needs please let me know as I have not nailed one down yet. Thanks!"Things have taken a turn for the surreal." - Capt. Great! Going off the "Training" section of this board I have started doing a little research, and it seems like there is a few relevant courses offered later this summer in the Quakertown/Topton/Hellertown area. I'll keep looking around for anything sooner, let me know if you find anything as well.

Tactical Response (I can personally vouch for them) has their 2 day Fighting Pistol block in Muncy, PA, June 1, 2:

Don't dither -- take this class. Note that Fighting Rifle is June 3,4 at the same location. ETA: I don't think you can commute same-day to the class, though; would probably imply a hotel.
Suarez International to have Close Raneg Gunfighting in October in Topton, PA:

Re: SEPA training course buddy
All awesome info, thanks a ton! I have been thinking about the IPD Systems Handgun Course in Hellertown Aug. 22-23 as well:

The "CAR" system looks pretty interesting as far as I can tell.

I'd love to hear from anyone who has taken either of these courses.Last edited by SigMan1980; May 18th, 2009 at 07:25 PM. Reason: info
