Anyone in Chester Co. up for a Meet & Greet??

Want to do a Valley Forge Meet & Greet? I'd be up for it. Valley Forge is really nice this time of year. There are several areas where we can have a cook-out as well.

I'm up for that!! Let me know! Not sure about weapons in that park if you want to carry??????

I only just applied for my carry permit yesterday (5/15/09), so I can't carry till I get it in the mail.

It would be nice if we could get a local gun club to allow us to have a gathering for non-members. The problem with Valley Forge (atleast until the new law is passed) you can not carry in that park since it is classified as a National Park.

excelent idea, They have the public firing range! its a little over an hour for me to get to but i'm deffinitly up for it!

OK for Meet & Greet.

For those who don't already know, the State Game Lands #43 public range is near to French Creek State Park. They have a 100 yd. rifle backstop w/about ten 2-seater tables, and a 50 yd. backstop w/about 2 maybe 3 tables. (wish they had a 7 yd or 25 yd handgun range) Opens @ 8:00 AM Mon-Sat (later on Sun.)...gets crowded a few hours later.

I'm pretty sure the SGL range can be reserved for groups but I'm not sure how much that costs...

Ok, so I guess we have a place, now we just need a time and date. Preferably late June, early July. I should have my LTCF in the mail by then.
