Sks wont load round

I just bought an sks and cleaned it up nicely and put about 20 rounds through it. But then it locked up with a round in the chamber and I couldn't cycle it by hand I had to hit it back with a rubber mallet. Now when I try too load a round in the breach it gets stuck. What would cause this?

ship it back to where it came from and BUY AMERICAN ASSAULT RIFLES! Just kidding i dont know could be many reasons , mag, spring .etc.

Sounds about right. One rule with SKS rifles, clean them until everything is clean and then do it 3 more times

That would be a Very Correct Statement,

More than likely it was dried up Cosmoline that once it got heated up, it acts like cement. You can also try the .410 gauge brush chucked in a cordless drill and run it in the chamber, just be careful not to hit the rifling in the bore.
