I'm new to this forum. I have wondered the others quite a bit. I just found this forum and website tonight. I'm Northwest Berks near Frystown. I generally shoot and I am a member at the Myerstown Rod & Gun Club.

I shoot two Dan Wesson 1911's, a PM7-S and a Guardian Duce Commander.
I carry the Commander. I also occasionaly carry an SP-101 or my Glock 27 and have a few others.

I shoot for enjoyment and self defense. I am licensed in Berks.

    I am a CNC/PLC Sytems Integrator ( I makem work)

I was considering a CCW site myself amd hope this one really kicks.

speaking of gun gallery....the only guy to deal with in there is jim.......if hes not there i walk right out......the prices are too high and i heard the owner isnt the most honest person......i wouldnt trust him for anything, i have examples but do to the nature of them cant discuss....but jim is a good guy and if u need something fixed ask for him.....also the gun range there is pretty crappy, but i guess its the only one around that area......

They don't have set stations you have to shoot from.
Where is the Muhlenburg Range? Is this a club? If so, how do you join?

I live in Temple but drive to Pikeville to shoot. Any place in Muhlenburg Twp. would be closer for me.

Muhlenbergs range is off of 61. If you're driving out of reading when you pass where the oldsmobile dealer used to be, you make a left at the jug handle. The road will then Y , stay to the left and its about a half mile on the right at the sharp bend. Very small sign and the range is not visible from the road. There is a gate at the road that you need a combo to open and get down the lane. I beleive they have a website. I think its muhlshooting.org or something like that.

I am also new to the area. I moved to reading in August, but my brother has lived here for over 15yrs and neither can find a indoor range except the gun gallery. I have a few pistols that I have yet to try out. billy870m9 I don't live too far from you. I live on Church st. just of Marion. My brother and I would love to get together if we can find a nice place.
    By the way, I have a Bersa thunder 45, Sig p226, Ruger, HK, and a M&P 9mm.

Welcome.. For OUTDOOR ranges you can try Daniel Boone Rod and Gun Club- memberships are not real expensive.. I think it's $15 or $20 a year,,

Indoor ranges in this area are few and far between - at least to my knowledge.. Their maybe something in Reading.. I am sure the Reading PD practice somewhere.. But I don't really know..
