    Default PA gun restrictions?

I am a new member to this site and am rather naive about Pennsylvania rules and regulations. I am interested in guns that are a little more "exotic" meaning not your ordinary hunting rifle. Mainly i am interested in guns leaning towards military issue and am curious to what kinds of guns are legal and illegal in PA.

As long as it is not full auto you can own it, If u want full-auto you need to get the tax stamp and wait til it is approved..AR's AK's FN FAL's u name it u can own it, No mag restrictions either..

No guns are illegal in Pennsylvania that are legal elsewhere in the country.

Basically you can own anything but Destructive Devices.

    1. Semi-auto AKs, ARs, FALs, etc are fine.
    2. Full Auto ... with proper ATF approval is fine
    3. Short barreled (Rifles/Shotguns) .. with proper ATF approval is fine
    4. Suppressors ... with proper ATF approval is fine

    Have fun and post pictures.

Ok no destructive devices but is there a limit to bullet caliber in regular ballistics firearms?

Since when are Destructive Devices illegal in Pennsylvania? Long as you have a tax stamp, you're good to go.

It was my understanding that you can own anything, including destructive devices, except explosive destructive devices. Example: an USAS-12 full auto or anti-tank rifle may be a destructive device, legal to own. So might an M203 40mm launcher. A grenade or explosive round is an illegal explosive DD.
