Pittsburgh Council District 6 Election

Well,

Lives down the street from me, Tonya "Who really cares about it being unconstitutional?" Payne is up for reelection.

But it doesn't matter because the other candidate is also an anti. there is no one to vote for. I just emailed the other guy and told him i aint voting for him either.

i don't live in her district (dowd is my councilman...better than payne, though not by a lot), but i drive through there everyday on my way to and from work.

she put up those two huge billboards with her picture and name on them and now i have to see them everyday...once on my way in and once on my way home. the one on the way home is at the end of the birmingham bridge and i always catch that red light and have to have that damn billboard staring at me the whole time i am sitting there.

i so want to get out and spray paint "who really cares about it being unconstitutional?" on that damn billboard.

argh.

Well I live about 20 feet from her house and definitely could place a sign in my window which has that quote on it.

Gotta love when your elected officials don't care about the constitution. It just reinforces the idea that they are there for the power.

I'm not a big one for quoting others because I prefer to utter my own thoughts but sometimes, someone else just says something in a wonderful manner. One of my favorite quotes is by Daniel Webster, the guy that took on the Devil.

Good intentions will always be pleaded for every assumption of authority. It is hardly too strong to say that the Constitution was made to guard the people against the dangers of good intentions.
