IIRC, the three month time frame is for someone that resides in PA but does not have a PA DL and is using some other form of picture ID and/or is a resident alien, again without a PA DL. To be sure about this I would have to check the laws again as I have never run into this yet.

Bought my first gun on a Canadian Drivers permit accompanied with my green card and a few paychecks (proof of) employment. They asked for photo ID the Drivers permit had that, a passport and 3 months worth of bills and my paychecks gave them all they needed. I can only immagine they want it all nice and perty so it makes it easyer on them, but all in all, they only need a govt ID, and proof of residence.

I put "homemaker" in the employment section and havn't had any problems with any purchases.

I moved to Pa in september of 2005. I got my ccw license in November, the same day I got my drivers license. Two days later I got my glock 33. I think it was just over two months for me, and I had no problems, but I did have my lease that said I was there since july.
