    Default My Latest Targets

Went to PHILADELPHIA ARCHERY & GUN CLUB (SPAG) this afternoon (May 8, 2007) and put another 140 rounds thru the pipe. I had two 5 in 1 targets and put two 7 round clips in each, one sheet was all two handed, the other one handed, seems I get slightly better groups from my one handed shooting, both were at 21 feet. I rode my Road King there and after enjoyed a nice long ride home, what a beautiful day, shootin' and ridin', doesn't get much better than that, well it doesn't if you keep your mind out of the gutter, lol.

Logic would suggest that "look ma - no hands" shooting will tighten your groups dramatically!

I called to check my ZIP CODE!....DY-NO-MITE!!!

Hey soberbyker, I'm glad that you had a beautiful day!

As for my shooting, I seem to do better when I'm using both hands. I probably need to practice more using just one hand.

    Take care,

    Rand

Bikes and guns...sounds like a winning combination to me. I take it you were shooting some sort of Glock? I'm guessing from your avatar, seeing how you didn't mention what you were shooting.

I was at SPAG once with Diego and Dan. It's a nice range, but man their prices are too high for me.

Apparently you can just pay a higher day fee, then shoot all your own ammo.

The gun I was shooting, my only gun, is a Kahr CW9 DAO. I just like the graphic that I use on my signature line. I have been to SPAG three times, twice to shoot, once as Dan P's guest along with dgg9, & once for Glock Day

They have two "day" rates for non members, $15 and buy their ammo or $25 and bring your own, which is what I did.

One of these days I'd like to learn the programmable target gizmo, I watched dgg9 one day have the target turn and give him a few seconds to shoot and turn back, it was cool. I just had it stay still at 21 feet.

Nice shooting byker..... especially one handed....was that 21 feet or 2.1 feet? I would take my bike to the range but it would be a bit tough (and look pretty disturbing) to take 2-3 rifles and 2-3 handguns on the bike, even if the range is 10 miles away.
