I'd be up for that and I just got a 12 gauge and wal-mart has 15 shell packs of 12 gauge slugs and 00 for around 7 bucks (it's Remington express) and sometimes they have blazer brass (45 acp) for $9 or $10 per 50.

I have a few pistols (40 s&w, 45 acp, and 38 special), thompson (when fixed), and 590a1 (12 gauge) and a few bolt action guns in various calibers from 223 to 300 win mag

This sounds like a really good idea.

I always like to try other people's guns, but feel bad using their ammo.

As for what guns I can bring, I have an SKS, Remmy 870 12ga, and the venerable 10/22. Nothing special, I know, but they're all fun and fairly cheap to shoot.

As for what I'd like to shoot, definitely some 45acp (I've never shot a 1911-style), and if Ronin feels like bringing the Deagle again, I'm definitely buying a box of 44mags because that thing is crazy fun. Probably some 9mm also.

Not a bad idea"guns I'd like to shoot". If the date is one I can make I can bring one of the AR's (.223), my Ruger Redhawk (44mag, 7 1/2 bbl), a RIA 45 and the Ruger 45 (KP90). Maybe even bring the sniper rifle (Savage 12 FV in .204 Ruger w/ 6-24X scope, heavy bbl, accu-trigger, bipod).

I wish I would have had more time on SAT to stay a while to shoot (both verbal and guns).

X-ring how do you like the accu-trigger? I have one on my 11f in .223 and love it. Just need a better scope

I can honestly say that it is one of the best triggers that I have ever used. It ranks up there with any of the high end competitive triggers I've seen in "mega dollar" target rifles. Mine is set for 1 1/2 lbs and is rock solid with no creep. Too bad I can't put one on my AR.

I would like to try an M1 Garand. Anybody have one?

    SHTF weapons....

I have several ARs in assorted configurations. I'm breaking in a new SPR that I built so I'd probably just bring that. It's fun to shoot, and with the suppressor, there's hardly any recoil. You can watch the holes go in the paper. I can bring a rem 700P in .308. Hopefully I'll finish my "M16A1" clone soon too.

Lexington86, i have a SA 1911 that you can shoot. Its my favorite pistol.

    GREAT

I am actually looking for a bolt 308 as some point in the near future. I have narrowed it down to "bolt" and 308 but have not shot a 308 before. I will pick up some 308's then for the next group shoot!

Its not a bolt, but you would be welcome to shoot my M1A... Although it might be more appropriate for you to shoot my Ruger in 30.06, that would be closer to the feel of a bolt .308
