Default Is my friend a prohibited person?

I have a friend that was convicted of 18 § 3922 §§A1 Theft By Decep-False Impression a couple years ago. It was graded as an M3. Does this conviction prohibit him from possessing firearms?

By my interpretation of 18Pa.C.S.6105 I would say no.

    Nope.
    (ten chars.)
"The rifle is the weapon of democracy. If guns are outlawed, only the government will have guns. Only the police, the secret police, the military. The hired servants of our rulers. Only the government-and a few outlaws. I intend to be among the outlaws." (Edward Abbey, "The Right to Arms," Abbey's Road [New York, 1979])
I have my rifle. Do you?

He should be ok. Has he stopped being a d-bag, though?
