Ordering an X-D9sc, time frame?

Hey guys,

I know XD's are popular, but are they hard to get currently? Reason I ask is because I ordered one from my local shop about 6 weeks ago, and it still isn't in. I know it was on backorder, my shop said their distributor didn't have any in stock when I ordered it. Is this time frame typical when ordering? Thanks!

I believe that Sporting Goods Disconter in Giestown PA. has one under the glass waiting for someone to take home.

I love mine. Good choice.
