Got Dandelions?

I discovered another use for brake cleaner - it kills Dandelions dead, and quickly too.
Just spray the leaves and flowers, and in about an hours time it'll wilt. It will be dead and brown 24 hours later. The great thing about brake cleaner is that it evaporates. It won't seep into the ground and kill anything else.

Brake cleaner is also the best wasp and hornet killer. It knocks them out of the air, dead.

My father-in-law eats those things... I could never get around how sweet they are....

How to get rid of them? I filled up the 25 gallon tank sprayer today with some 2-4-D herbicide, hooked up to the tractor and sprayed away. A couple hours later and they are wilting already along with every other broad leaf weed.

Just remember, they seed twice a year, so the best thing to get rid of them is not to let their seeds grow. A good fertilizer with a Pre-Emergent will keep them gone...A great looking yard is very easy, just costly......you need to apply product 6 times per year
