    Hiya!

Went by that club a few times, and might be interested... any idea on the timeline for the pistol range? I drive up to PMSC currently, but would love to have a closer club to join. I'm strictly a pistol guy (minus the annual '94 sighting) and am looking for a range for such.

From what I understand, the pistol range will be done when you come help build it

Per Roy, "you can drive down to the 100yd and set up your target there for pistol".

Moving forward the actual set up will be down by the end (table 45 -50). We will need to set pipes in the ground to insert the target stands. Again, this is a project that will need to be agreed upon and set a day and time to do so.

This Sunday (May 3rd) is there match so it will be good to come out and talk more about it.

Have you any more info on that one? I have family in Holiday Park and often hear reports coming from that way while visiting, but I've never been to check it out.

No, I don't...other than it is right near Holiday Park...and this review I saw on the web:

This gun club has some of the better fees in the area and the outdoor ranges are perfect for pistol and rifle shooting. They also have an archery range and the club house is very neat and clean. Members get to go to the range whenever they want and can use the club house. The rules are pretty basic and the dinner and get togethers are pretty nice.

    Hiya All,

I finally had the opportunity to drop by. Unfortunately the Fayette Gun Club is skeet and trap -shotgun- only. Someone recently mentioned a South Connellsville club, so I 'spose that's the next stop!

I might do that as well, though coming off the mountain from work I can swing through Connellsville much easier than Fairchance. I'm sure the Fairchance range is lovely, but I'm still looking for someplace that actually has a set up for pistols.
