+that on the Star. I had forgotten them. I had a Model BM that was pretty good on S/A trigger - was single-stack, solid, accurate, well made.

Sig Sauer X-Five (it takes P226 mags), and is probably one of the most accurate handguns I have ever fired.

That's what I'm leaning towards. It's VERY expensive, though. I'd really like to find someone that has one they'd let me run a couple of mags through first.

Check out an HK USP or USP compact. Mine is DA/SA or it can be used SA only. The way it's designed you can put the safety on when it's cocked and locked just like a 1911 or you can de-cock it for DA/SA. It's an outstanding gun. Just check the safety/trigger configuration before you buy. They have several different styles. Some DA only. Why not just get a Glock? They are "safe action" which is pretty much like DA only but the trigger is better and they hold 18 rds of 9mm. Mine has a 3.5lb trigger.

I already own a Glock. I want a SA only gun.

I've pretty much decided on a Sig P226 X-five. I just have to convince myself to drop the cash.
