I keep no firearms that have no job! AR only :P
S! ALL
So where does the poor-man learn more about a civil defense rifle? What's the big deal about MagPul? Why is a single-point sling buckel made of plastic? Can you prove your red-dot scope is better than my shotgun scope? Why is a Bushmaster a bad thing? I got a million of 'em! Who do I ask without stirring up trouble? I have more AR vs AK qustions but dare not...old news apparently..
Yes- I am appealing to the masses JAYBELL..I have a need to know without going thru all the smileys and chit chat.. that's what we depend on the internet for-right? Quick answers to our questions. If noone responds-so be it.
Love Ned

Re: I keep no firearms that have no job! AR only :P
1. Buy some books. The internet always has "one uppers". But then again, we learn a lot about different people that way. I have a hard time rendering someone's opinion valid by what they have typed on a screen.
2. I have never touched any Magpul products, so I can't help you there.
3. I don't have any single point slings.
4. I only own one red dot, and it is a junky BSA on a high point carbine.
5. I have a Colt, but don't dislike Bushy.
6. I would love to venture into the AK AR questions with you. I am fortunate to have both. Maybe I could learn something.
7. Why are you gunning for JayBell?

You should ask these questions individually to keep them on topic. Answering all these in the same thread will invite thread drift.
Ask specifically about slings.
Ask specifically about optics.
Ask specifically about magpuls.
Etc., etc. etc.

Re: I keep no firearms that have no job! AR only :P
I'm not gunning for JayBell! I completely understand why he moved the thread and half expected it. My intention was to seriously discuss both guns..hopefully by those that have and love both. Not so much..why you dislike one but what and why you enjoy either firearm.
Lately, I'm rushing back and forth to the range working out the bugs in my AR but when that gets frustrating and I need a break.. I've been wasting some of my tin cans of ak ammo..guess I just got all excited that evening after a beer or two. Sorry fellas for any misunderstandings. My intentions have been misunderstood before due to my lousy abbrv and english writing skills. Army training.

No real bugs with the AR..more like bugs on my part. Trying different optics, mounts, BUIS co-witness, compensators, slings, ammo, reloads, bowcases, ect. I keep reminding myself what I bought it for. I'll get back to KISS soon enough.

I can help you on the Magpul question. They make great AR mag followers that are anti-tilt and self lubricating. I have rebuilt all my AR mags with their followers. They also make ranger floorplates as well as rubber slip on magpuls that facilitate faster mag changes. They also have a wide range of stocks and grips for the AR platform and are currently working on their own rifle the Masada. Hope that is what you were looking for.
