I am curious for I am going to New York City with my Wife to see a show. I am wondering if I can carry my fire arm with me on my escapade? I do have a valid PA CCW.

OC in NYC and your day trip will become quite lengthy, and you'll have some new friends named Bubba. It is EXTREMELY difficult to get a carry permit for NYC as it is not a "shall issue" kind of thing like PA is. You must have a legitimate reason to be applying for a carry permit, and it is a good possibility you will still be denied. You have to have a license just to have a handgun in your house...so forget about carrying. lol

Tasers are illegal in NY and can not be owned or carried, with the exception of qualified LEO.

You can carry OC spray IF it was purchased in NYC from a licensed dealer who has to run a background on you. Any felony convictions or assaults, you are not permitted to carry it. They are also very strict on which brands are sold/carried there, so I wouldn't suggest bringing out of state spray unless your sure its the brand/type sold there.
