Delaware Valley Sports Center
I just wanted to let other forum members of a place I found last weekend. Delaware Valley Sports Center in Philadelphia PA is is small but very friendly (and customer service driven) shop and pistol range in the far Ne section of Philadelphia. I bought a couple of cases of .40 cal there as it was the best price I have seen in a long time. It was even cheaper then all the online sites I have visited. They had quite a good selection of all calibers except for .380 I spent the money I had on me at the time, but will be going back to this place in the future. I told them about PAFOA and the owner seemed very interested. I will post their website so you can contact them to see if they have what you want before you make the drive.

Re: Delaware Valley Sports Center
I took a class with John Farnam there back in February. It is a nice place but the shop is small as compared to a place like Targetmaster. And they didn't have too many 'combat' pistols in stock at the time; 1 Glock and several 22lr Sig P226. But as you said, the employees and the ower were pretty nice. They had a 10 lane range, 25 yards I believe. If I lived closer I would go there to shoot.

Re: Delaware Valley Sports Center
Sounds like a great place to shoot. How much are their range rates for non-members?

Re: Delaware Valley Sports Center
I'm a member, and this place is awesome. My only complaint is that they are closed on Mondays. Sometimes I get a Monday off and would like to shoot.

Re: Delaware Valley Sports Center
I think it was $100 for the year, but there are signs that the prices are going up this year. Not bad considering you can use your own ammo and pick up your own brass.
Another plus: if you are a member, transfer fees for internet sales are only $15.Last edited by CZJedi; February 11th, 2010 at 07:59 AM.

Re: Delaware Valley Sports Center
whoa! u sure its only a $100? that would cover the unlimited range time fee for a year, let me shoot my own ammo, pick up my brass, and the $15 transfer fee on my future purchases? sounds a little too good to be true

Re: Delaware Valley Sports Center
Again, prices are going up, but I'm not sure by how much because my membership does not expire until May. Maybe $120 - $130 now? You can call and ask. They are also very conscience about safety. They even called the cops on one guy who was showing off his pistol with scratched-out serial numbers.
