Butler Gun Emporium -- Chicora, PA?

Anyone have any experience with this shop, located on PA 68 between Butler and Chicora?

I've stopped a few times in the last two months and it's been closed every time despite it being posted "open" hours when I was there. I called and left a message and didn't get a return call.

Ive heard good things about that place from coworkers but ive never been there. Sounds like he might have called it quit.

Mark (the owner) is a hard one to catch there. Try mornings before noon. Good selection from new hunting to old trapdoors. Sometimes has some really weird old stuff.

I go by there all the time and he's rarely open. I saw his truck there a few weeks ago and stopped in. He has a ton of stuff but a lot of it is old collector stuff. Not really my thing but now I know.

A friend of mine told me that this time of year Mark is open on Tuesdays for sure, best to call ahead. I've tried calling several times, but not on a Tuesday. I tried a few minutes ago and Mark was in, but today's bad for me to stop there.
