Yep, which isi why I think it is ironic that he also links to the NRA-ILA.

I didn't add the quote you have under mine, I only pointed the person who wanted to know to the website that has the information he asked for, which he could have done himself if he'd click on the "Law" section at the top of any PAFOA forum page.

For the last two days I've attempted to submit CC application at the County Seat in Doylestown, Bucks County. Only to be told that they system is down with them having no idea when it will be back up.

Has anyone else experienced this circumtance?

That "system" is down at the other end (PSP Firearms Division in Harrisburg) and has been since around noon yesterday. All 67 Sheriff's Offices are affected.

Back in December, I went to the Sheriff's office on Friday. Background system was overloaded. They told me they would call me back next week.

I got the call the next Wednesday, went in on Thursday and completed the process....so yes, you're not the only one having this situation.

I would probably call before heading down there to save yourself some time.

Okay, I'm a fair minded guy, so here's an update

Although the system had been down for days, I just went to the Bucks Co. courthouse and submitted my paperwork for the license to carry. Fifteen minutes later I walked out with my license to carry.

I have no idea if it would work that way for everyone, but for me it was in relative terms, lightening fast.

That is good news. Tomorrow morning I am going to the court house to do the same. Hope it doesn't crash again in the meantime.
