Surplus City - Feasterville/Trevose, PA
Hey everybody,
I was in Surplus City the other day (outside Philly) and want to take a minute to commend them for continuing to do business fairly. (seems that way to me at least)
The shop was full of in-demand items, WASR's, AMD's, YUGO AK's, etc. all at reasonable prices.
Like everywhere else, their prices on these things have gone up since the election ($399 for a WASR on election day vs. $519 now) but everything is significantly less than what I've seen on gunbroker, and much much much better than what has been floating around at gun shows.
I'm just glad to see a shop that is happy to operate in the current market without inflating their prices. Free markets are fine, and people can sell things for whatever price they want, but that works both ways--we have to support and praise those shops that aren't playing on people's fears to make a quick buck.Last edited by mak47; April 15th, 2009 at 09:57 PM. +1
I've been in the store several times since Nov 08 and have notice that their prices have not been inflated like so many other stores.
