    Default Cabela's Question

I know Cabela's sometimes runs the deal where if you spend so and so amount you get some free money. It was a good deal, anyone know if they have any kind of deal going on at the moment?

They are running triple points for Cabela's Club members. Works out to be 6% credit toward future purchases. Runs through 5/31.

Whatever the deal is its not worth it. I think their prices are too high.

Their prices are too high, and their policies against legal carry rub me the wrong way.

The deal they do is usually:
    30 off 100
    50 off 200
    70 off 300
    100 off 500
This is for club members and must be used with the cabelas credit card. There is not a deal going on now that I know of. They only do it a few times a year.

What policy? Only thing I'd read or heard recently (last few months) is one guy got a bit of a hassle about open carry in the store. I believe this was resolved by a store manager, and the poster went about his business (shopping).

    Just curious...

FYI, this is from another forum...same topic:
Thank you for the recent email. I am very sorry for the confusion that took place at our retail location.
Our corporate office has taken action in regards to the below mentioned issue and here is what has been decided.
We have made the decision to comply with state laws in regards to open carry. We do not ask customers to check concealed or open carry weapons where the state has laws governing this situation. Our signs refer to firearms that are being returned or sold to Cabela's.

If you are still having problems please feel free to let us know

    Thanks again

Even the fishing crowd is fed up with Cabelas. If they don't change some things soon, there's probally gonna be a lot of customers going elsewhere.
