I don't think you can use dogs, but why would you?
You have dogs you want rid of?

I never used dogs I have heard of it though. I usually go out around 3am with a rabbit distress call and a scope mounted red light. Call, hit the light, and look for eyes! within minutes you will usually know if they are in the area.

You can use dogs, but they usually need to be trained. You basically run the coyote until they're exhausted while you follow it on a four wheeler and finish it off. Not much sport to it, and not exactly fun unless you like terrorizing animals. If you want to do it without the dogs, then this is where you'd probably want to begin reading. http://forum.pafoa.org/hunting-23/15...es-page-2.html . Hope that helps.

I have hunted with a couple guys with dogs. Good dogs are expensive. The dogs carry radio collars and the hunters try to circle around the coyotes using GPS units. I have seen yotes run for miles/hours and the dogs usually are exhausted before the coyotes if you don't kill the coyote within a couple circle attempts.

I think using hounds is the most reliable way to kill coyotes. Coyotes learn quickly to circle downwind of a call and here in PA you won't get the long range shots that occur out West. Check out the more popular coyote hunts and I think you will find that most money winners are houndsmen. The dog owners shoot more coyotes, too.
