    Default Mossberg 500 Pistol Grip

I was wondering where i could get a decently priced stock that i can put on and take off easily along with a barrel....heres a stupid question/ statement. I tried shooting claybirds and had shitty luck because of my ammo was highpowered stuff and my barrel is short...so longer the barrel easier to hit the clay birds? Also how easy is it to put a side saddel on one of these.

heres a link to what my gun looks like http://www.mossberg.com/images/Mossb.../New/54125.jpg

i had that same exact model. i strongly advise you to switch out the pistol grip for something with a shoulder stock or pistol grip/stock combo. ATI makes one, Knoxx makes a better one. pistol grips aren't designed for aiming, really, especially for that model, and it's definitely not made for clay shooting; that one is meant for door breaching and indoor close quarters fighting. it's a great home defense gun, but a not-so-great sporting gun.

an ATI stock will run you around $70, the Knoxx will go for around $150; it's worth the money, though.
