Suggestion: Reference: Definition of Firearm
Could someone post the relevant "Definition of a Firearm" code into the reference section? Thanks!

Re: Suggestion: Reference: Definition of Firearm
That changes in the UFA from section to section. The default definition is pistols and short rifles or short shotguns, but this is expanded in sections that re-define it for specific purposes, sometimes including everything that spits bullets, sometimes just modern cartridge weapons, sometimes excluding antiques. It depends on whether you're looking at transfers, carry, possession, etc.
Then there's the Federal definitions, which are also binding on PA residents. We have "Title I" and "Title II" firearms, which are very different.
It's confusing, but not just because of a lack of a quick link to "the" definition.

It's already there:
http://reference.pafoa.org/statutes/...2/definitions/
That is the "default" definition of firearm throughout the UFA, however specific subsections can override the definition.Dan P, Founder & President, Pennsylvania Firearm Owners Association
