Default Sig p226 Blackwater Tactical, good deal?

I ran into one of these for sale the other day and am thinking about buying it. Are they really worth the money? I know that Sig's are very reliable from what I hear, but I've never owned one. Does anyone think this would be a good deal?

    Sig P226 Blackwater Tactical
    used, but never shot
    4 factory 20 round mags (9mm)
includes everything the gun comes with new: cleaning kit, case, speed loader etc
Tactical leg holster, fits gun with light/laser (forget which brand, but it's nice)
    and a Surefire X300 light

    all for $1,100

I know the light alone costs about $250 (i have one on my 24/7 OSS), so I would think it's a pretty good deal considering Sig's are usually pretty expensive. What does everyone else think? Are they worth the extra bucks compared to other top quality pistols such as a glock?

PS: I probably would never buy a glock, just a personal preference, even though they seem to be the best, most reliable, gun out there.

seems pretty good to me. I have a blackwater tactical and it's by far my fav handgun I've come across to date.

I have the Blackwater 226. Love it. I paid $1000 for the gun and 5 mags several months ago. I don't regret it.

I have the plain vanilla P226. I am not sure what you get by going the Blackwater route, but I love my 226 and it is a ton of money less than the Blackwater. You can find lightly used vanilla 226s without rails for under $700. I own two Colt 1911s, my sig, and a Bersa. The Sig is the Cadillac of them all.

a brand new Blackwater, according to Sigs website runs for $1,238.00.
the 4 mags run $44.00 each for the 15 round 9mm.
the leg holster can be anywhere from $19.95 to $170 depending on what one it is
and the surefire light runs for about $250
figure about $1,700 all said and done with that stuff above.

id say its not a bad deal. probably not the best youll find on a 226 Blackwater, but its your call. it is a fantastic gun.

BW tactical is hell of a deal for 4 reasons.

20rds mags alone is worth $120($30 each)
    It comes with SRT
    Fiberoptic sight on front
    Beavertail frame.

I'd bought BW tactical, instead of my P-226 tactical, if I could have find it when I bought it..

P226 is one hell of firearm no matter what configuration you get them - souped up one like BW tactical or just tactical, or plain jane, its well worth the money IMO

the Blackwater Tactical is new for 2009 and I had to wait 2 months for mine. and payed 1028 at Ace in Washington.

I love this gun this is my second Sig and I warren you Sigs are very addictive and leave you with this feeling that you have to have another.

Sounds like I good deal for 1100 with all those toys. if the gun really is used unfired. I love mine and would not traid it for anything.

ps this is my zombie pistol I have 5 20 round mags for it and is better than the knowledge that it takes two boxes of ammo to fill the mags

and buy the way for true sig 20rd mags they cost more like $50-$60

you can get the mags from Mec-Gar for around 30 each. they look like they are the same mags as the ones that come with the gun other than the fact they do not say SIG on them

I gotta wonder what SIG is going to do about making more of these since there technically is no more "Blackwater"
