NFA Timeline...my experience

Well, today, i completed my Trust for the safekeeping of my most beloved personal items.

Then a trip to my local purveyor, viewed the available options and chose my first supressor.

The wait begins

Received word that the NFA item has been assigned a Serial Number.

Awaiting buils / delivery confirmation.

Supressor received by Dealer yesterday - 06/23/09
Paperwork submitted TODAY - 06/24/09

Form 4 Received last night, and picked up.

Almost 3 months (to the DAY) from submission to receipt!

Yep... sent the upper off to have the flash attached... for me, spending the 15.00 to have a professional do the work is $$ well spent.

IF something goes wrong...because it is attached incorrectly.. I have some recourse.

Should be back next week or so.

I'm in no hurry given my current work load.
