This article is a step away from an editorial...and the second sentence leads the way:
"So what does that say about the state of gun control laws in this country? One thing appears certain: the regulations aren't getting stricter."
OH NOES!!11!1!
You can't regulate stupidity. You can't stop a killer. As far as I know, it's still easy to buy fertilizer and rent a truck...
This is just more proof that it isn't about safety - it's about leftists getting rid of guns.
It's going to be a long four years, folks.

I wonder if there's an island for sale somewhere warm. I'll pack my family guns and plenty of ammo and everything else I need, make my own constitution.

Ignorance is not knowing, Stupidity is arguing something you know nothing about, unfortunately the main stream Media falls into the latter category.

Flame me for saying but gun laws are not strict enough in PA. How was the Pittsburgh shooter able to get a permit after being dishonorable discharged from the military? He should have not been able to get a permit. If gun laws were stricter this guy wouldn't been able to get a permit. Would he have been able to get a UT permit? Probably not but I don't know for sure. My $.02.

It is not stupidity. It is propaganda, and it is effective. It is foolish to dismiss the left's deliberate attacks on our Constitution and freedom as "stupid." It is just the opposite. The truth does not serve the left's goals to control the population, so they do not hesitate to use lies and fear. We weaken ourselves by just thinking of them as stupid. They are smart, devious, dishonest, and effective, those of us who believe in this nation's ideals are at war with them and they with us, and we most honestly assess them and their tactics.

In 2008, there were 37,313 reported Motor Vehicle related deaths (and a far greater number of MVA related serious injuries) in the United States (alone); The overwhelming majority of these vehicle collisions involved Licensed Drivers operating Registered Vehicles.
Where are the front-page headlines discussing this issue? Where is the 'media outcry' over this?
