    Default Monolithic Rail AR-15

    Aside from the Colt SP6940 and LMT MRP16, what other quality manufactures make a monolithic rail upper AR-15 pattern rifle?

    Not necessarily a manufacturer, but I think Precision Firearms would have what you want.

    Check out MEGA, Vltor as both make monolithic uppers.

    I thought Noveske does one, maybe with a Troy upper? Can't be sure. I'm after a Troy or clone "tubular" free-float as opposed to a quad-rail upper.
    All of my guns are lubed with BACON GREASE.

    Here is the Vltor;

    If I were to do it again, I would use the Mega upper. Mega's uppers were just coming out when I bought this and they didn't offer a rifle/12" length.

    Have you seen this?;

    To bring an old post back, is there more advantage to a monolithic upper other than stability? I really like the look and think the once piece upper would have to be stronger, just trying to find some more pros. Thanks
