I've never understood that, you can check it on the plane, but can't take it on the train.

Last time I checked, the train was more expensive than flying for a long distance trip, though.

I mean, it's not a monumental leap for gun owners' rights, but it's a step in the right direction, and it's a good thing that we're taking the offensive for once. This seems like it could pass fairly easily, and may give us the forward momentum we need. After so many years of a reactive approach toward gun owners' rights... er... I'll leave that line of thinking alone.
