Who were the first to OC in PA?

How long has everyone been OC'ing for? I was looking back at the original OC threads when this section of the forum was opened, and I see alot of familiar OC names who had no idea OC was legal. How many people have been OC'ing since before the creation of this site.

for me, only about a year out in public, but about 5 years at camp during various times of the year.

I started to open carry waaaaay back in 1975.

Starting open carrying 24 days after I turned 21, three years almost to the date.

OC'ed in the late 70's. Oddly enough sheriff (Susquehanna County) was the one who suggested I upgrade license to CC. Back then you could get "permit" for open carry, CC was harder to get. Wife and I both had permits.

well i turned 21 last friday, and OC the next day. with my xdm..
thats because i cant find .380 HP rounds for my LCP!!!

I started to OC in Pa in 1989 when I move to Pa. Prior to this I OC'ed in WVa from 1984 to 1989. Prior to that I OC'ed in Ca from 1979 to 1984 off and on. Back then you could carry in Ca and no one gave it a second thought.
