Police Officers Shot/Killed in Pittsburgh

I just heard on Fox that two police officers were shot in Pittsburgh this morning and gunman was barricaded in . Anyone know any more on this ?

(CNN) -- Three police officers were shot in Pittsburgh on Saturday, as they responded to a domestic call, Allegheny County police said.

A gunman is apparently holed up inside a home in the Stanton Heights neighborhood of the western Pennsylvania city.

The conditions of the officers were not known.

Police couldn't say whether the officers struck were from the city, the county or other departments. City, county and state police officers were at the scene.

3 Officers Hurt In Pittsburgh Shooting; Source: Man Armed With AK-47

PITTSBURGH -- Three police officers were injured in a shooting in Pittsburgh's Stanton Heights neighborhood Saturday morning.

Officers were called to the 1000 block of Fairfield Street for a domestic call at about 7 a.m., upon which shots were fired. A source told WTAE Channel 4 Action News that a man inside the house was armed with an AK-47 rifle. A witness at the scene said at many as 80 rounds may have been fired.

State, Allegheny County and Pittsburgh police, in addition to SWAT members and a state police helicopter, were called to the scene.

Neighbors told WTAE Channel 4's Andrew Stockey at the scene that they know a man in his 20s lives at the house. Stockey said the man was watching local news coverage of the incident, after which, police moved on-lookers and the media outside the cordoned-off area.

Update, 3 cops shot..not killed...80 rounds fired. Its not a Dem. vs Repub. issue. its a nutball with a gun shooting at the cops issue!

TV has confirmed two Pittsburgh Police Officers have died.

Prayers to the families and friends of these officers.

The subject has surrendered and in custody.
