This guy was military(?) and a gun advocate and it looks like these were legally owned weapons. Is everyone sure he's not a PAFOA member?

Additionally, apparently during the interview this morning with the guys friend( I am hearing this second hand from a friend) that there was something about this man fearing his guns would be taken from him by obama..... if so that may have something to do with the shootout, but i am not sure of any of this. Anyone watch that interview?

if what they are saying about him being dishonorably discharged from the military, then he was banned from owning guns...

Of course the anti-gun agenda is already in full swing with it. Many comments on both fox and chan 11 about how "no one should ever own such a rifle" My prayers go out to the officers and their familes. May they rest in peace and may the bastard that did this never see the light of day again.

The interview was with his best friend. He said that because of the domestic violence charge the police were responding to he knew he'd lose his firearms. He had previously told his best friend that if anyone would try and take his firearms he would fight back with them like his forefathers would have wanted.

The police were responding to a call that he had assulted his mother who lived in the same house and I assume that he was fearing a dom. violence charge and confiscation.

The interview was on KDKA but isn't up on their site yet.

i really doubt it, but that is what they are saying... the video of the scene shows a cop carrying what looks like 2 cases of wolf ammo to a car...

reports are saying that well over 100 rounds were fired...

they are also saying that he did not complete boot camp before being discharged from the army...

    It wasn't full auto.

I watched the police take four cases of Federal brand ammo from the trunk of a car and carry it down the street.

Yeah they just played some of the audio on channel 11, you could tell by the sound and the rate of fire (although fast) wasn't full auto.

BTW, I retitled this thread to for accuracy as there are now confirmed deaths. God bless them and their families.

I also moved this to the "News" section, and want to let those who submitted threads there that I appreciate you taking the time to do so, but this thread made the most sense to "keep" at the moment.
