    Default Walmart Ammo Thread

I only buy .40 S&W and .223 so I'm more than happy to report on other finds as I visit local Wally Worlds.

    As of 4/3 1300hrs

    Norriton Wally World has BB 9mm x 4 boxes and WW.357 x 1

KOP has .25 Auto and not much else

Everyone seems to be pretty good on 30-06, 12 and 20ga

    updates as available...

Franklin Mills, an incomplete list (3 APR 2009, approx 1330).
    • Remington .22LR 550 bulk pack (approx $16.50) -- probably a dozen boxes
    • .22LR Minimag and shotshell
    • Federal Magnum (3") 12G
    • Federal 55gr .223
    • 9mm 115gr Blazer Brass

I didn't buy any of this, but I did notice it was there. Interesting note: They're going to institute a 5-per-item limit on ammunition. You won't be able to buy, say, all dozen of those Remington 22LR bulk packs, but you could buy, say, 5 each of the Remington, Federal, and Winchester .22LR bulk pack at one time.

    Which box of .223? 100rd or 200rd?

    Blairsville Wal-mart.

    (1) box of 357
    (1) box of 40 ( I think)

    that was it.

    Giestown Wal-mart.

I'm not sure they had any.

This is just blowing me away. How can such a large distributor not have any pistol ammo at all. Totally amazing.

Their sporting good dept seems to be out of service, the store is a mess. 12 & 20 ga. scattered around what is left, no ammo case to be found.

Next door, DICKS has some 200 pack .40 reloads, and a bunch of overpriced .223 (~.50-1.00/round)

I was at the Franklin Mills Walmart tonight as well as the Neshaminy Walmart. Neshaminy Walmart is empty. Some rifle ammo, but nothing in bulk. They have been dead for a while now.

Franklin Mills still has a bunch of .22 Remington in bulk boxes. I would have bought some if it weren't for the fact that the line was long and the cashier incredibly slow. I got bored and left. They also had a bit of .40 and .223. Not so much 7.62x39.

I was at the Walmart on 33 (Easton I think) today. Picked up the last box of .38+P JHP and .357 Mag JHP. They had some .40,.45 blazer, and various rifle ammo. No .380, 9mm, or much selection of what they did have.
