Walmart Ammo Thread

Honestly, I check the local wally-worlds every time I'm in (every week or two) and have never yet found anything good in stock.

We go to the same one in Silver Spring Twp. I expect. I'm right there with you. I read all these great finds and get pissed that our Walmart sucks.

I was told by an employee at Walmart the other night that they're no longer carrying .22 and it's been removed from their inventory. Every store in the area here (3) no longer has a spot in the ammo case for any .22lr.

They must nt lke money. Or they're afraid of the super armor piercing death buwwits.
Been a while since i bought .22 have to just buy bulk online now. ��

I saw a new 5.56 item at Walmart tonight.

American Eagle 5.56x45 55gr

(ignore the "223" in this image - the box looks the same, but it's 5.56x45)


Couldn't find an image of the actual 5.56 in larger box, but it's a
150 rd box for $54.94



I assume it's the same as the black box stuff, but I can't say for certain.

Hardly, they had over 20 bricks of Federal & Winchester plus tons of 100 count boxes of Winchester stacked 3 high & 5 or 6 wide all the way to the back of the cabinet, it was impossible to count because I couldn't see them all. I'm guessing you're trying to be funny, but if you don't care then I won't bother posting, I thought that was the purpose of this thread

I can personally attest to the WallyWorlds around here being pretty lame in terms of keeping ammo in stock. I'm glad yours is an exception, but pointing out that they often lack inventory depth isn't 'trying to be funny' necessarily.

mostly just unbelievable since WW is a nightmare with any inventory.

the one time i went into WW and saw them stocking the shelves, ammo all over the floor behind counter, was taken back. was a holy fuck moment because for years they've been mostly empty and picked over.
