Sayre Wally World is in the middle of remodeling and their case looks like Mother Hubbard's cupboard, although I was able to buy as much .22LR as I wanted. (yeah, I left some for the next guy)

No 9mm, .45 ACP, .38 spl, or .357 on the shelves at all when I stopped by on Wed.

No biggie, the local gun shop hooks us up better than that, anyway. Their prices are better, too. They do tell me that ammo is just hard to get now, because demand is so high. One of the owners was joking that the IDPA match here tomorrow might not go so well if ammo is in short supply.

Is that a good thing that people seem to be stocking up? Does that mean a well armed populace?

    Just left the Altoona Wal-Mart.

I bought myself two boxes of WW 9mm. Guy behind the counter said someone came in earlier and bought 10 boxes of 9mm. So, this is whats left.

    They had:

    6 boxes of 9mm left.

    6 boxes of 38

    1 box of 45

    1 box of 44

    1 box of 357

They had a couple boxes of 7.62x39 there too. But I'm pretty stocked up on that.

    Dateline Fairless Hills, PA

4/11/09 Fairless Hills Walmart had Winchester Value Pack .38 Special and bricks of .22lr in stock this morning.

Stocked up on the .38's as I haven't seen it in months.

    Shotgun ammo was plentiful.

Not much of anything else though.
