Walmart Ammo Thread

Clarion .22lr fed 325 box, $17.42. Also limit number per sale,
Clerk was immediately available to open case and check me out. Felt like I won some lottery,
Noticed large rack remington rifle ammo on special for about $17/ box, mags a bit more. Mostly .223 & 30-06,
Not having bought any centerfire ammo in awhile I don't know if that's a good deal or not.

Dickson City is now carrying 7.62x54R Tula @ $12 a box. Lots of .223, .22 etc between there and Honesdale.

Tamaqua has plenty of .22lr. They have two Winchester M22 1000 round boxes for $50. They have CCI mini mags, Federal Auto Match, and the High Velocity Winchester.

Bechtelsville Walmart is loaded up right now. I grabbed three boxes of .22lr from CCI today. I tried to get six boxes but, the kid pointed at the sign. After shift change a return trip will be made.

Walmart in Delmont had 325 rnd fed auto match and cci quiets. First I've seen any bulk 22 ammo there in 4 years. Picked up one of the federal boxes for a friend, still 2 left.

Irwin store has the for ZQ1 7.62x51 NATO marked down from $9.97 to $7.47

I had to get a few. Wish I could have bought it all at that price.

They were fairly well stocked.

They were out of the new American Eagle .223 green box for $6.44

I haven't seen a .22 short in 4 years at a local store. Went to the Easton store tonight and it looked like it did a week after the Sandy Hook panic. Lots of .17hmr, hunting loads, and tons of shot shells. No affordable pistol or rifle ammo in common calibers.

Yesterday the Carbon County store was low on 9mm and had no .22lr but pretty well stocked on everything else including the new AE .223 and a fair amount of the $7.47 ZQI .308.

And when I caught up to Mrs EM she shook her head and said "I knew that was for you" referencing the overhead page for someone to sporting goods with the key for the ammo case.

Indiana Walmart pulled down the tag for the "new" .223.

The space for the 7.62 is still there.

I did buy some perfecta 9mm as it's cheaper than the Tula steel case.
