i bought a box of these at my Coal Township Wally world for 39.95 a box.. they had some 6 weeks ago are out now..

One of the Walmarts here in Reading area finally had some .223 in that was less than $.50 a round and had more than 20 rounds in a box.

Which Walmart was it that you found those?

The one in Wyomissing. But it was the last two they had. All they have left are those Remmington 50packs for $25.95 which is horse crap.

west Mifflin WM had a bunch of WWB 9mm and BB 9mm and .22 Federal 550 bulk packs.

N. Versailes WM has 1 box 45ACP JHP and a bunch of BB 40SW. One box WWB 38special +p

hey Shawn thanks for the heads up... a friend of mine was looking for 38 +p and I gave him the heads up no N.V. and he was able to get the one box of 38 SP +P. he said it wasnt white box but Rem Yellow and Green (prob UMC). but still was happy to get any +p. thanks again

Of those who have seen .40S&W on the shelves.....are they 50rnd boxes or 100's? Does Wal-Mart sell 100rnd WWB in .40S&W?? How much do they retail for?

Yes they do. At least the one in Elizabethville does. They had both the 50 and 100 packs. I 100 packs were going for about $34 last time they were there, which was about 3 months ago that I had seen. I know they have the 50 packs as well, but I don't know the price offhand. I'd guess somewhere between $15 and $20.

50rd box's at the Hometown wal-mart, they are going for 13.99 a box, both PMC Brass, and Federal Champion.

Please chime in if you've made the same observations from what folks have posted in this thread.........Wal-Mart ammo prices are NOT consistant from store to store. You agree?

I mean, my Dickson City WM sells 100rnd WWB .45acp for $29 and some change. Is that typical for .40S&W to be priced higher?


I can see wild price variations between the local shops......but I'd expect a litlle more consistancy from WM.

(or do I just need another cup of coffee to clear my hallucinogenic thinking?)

Might be the ammo crunch we're in with the cost of components going up, but when I picked up my last box of .45's wwb, they went for $36 for the 100 pack. This was about 4 weeks ago. So prices up here must be a bit steeper than where you are.
