Looking for the thinnest kydex iwb holster out there
Im new to kydex. My leathers add significant width to the package. I have a few one clip hybrids but the clips are offset on them and the gun tends to sink too low or try to ride out of my belt line. I am looking for suggestions on the thinnest one piece design available. I will most likely carry at about 2 o'clock position. I will use it for a Kahr PM9. Thank you in advance for your input. Brian

Re: Looking for the thinnest kydex iwb holster out there
Thinnest one I've ever personally laid eyes on come from Fist. The _best_ thinner holster I've ever personally laid eyes on is a blade tech nano, although it's not as thin as the Fist stuff.
But someone else probably makes one in the same thickness, since most holster makers all buy kydex sheets from the same places, anyway.

I hve looked a lot of thin Kydex holsters. Frankly, I don't like them. Most of the one I have seen are heat molded and somewhat brittle. I don't think they will last. Of course, YMMV.

Re: Looking for the thinnest kydex iwb holster out there
I just ordered a ISW appendix holster and a mag holder for a G43 from here well made with a slim profile.

G43 in a on your 6 appendix
My personal favorite in every way.

G26 in a CC appendix
Are you looking for the thinnest grade of Kydex or the thinnest profile for the holster itself? .08 is typically what is used on holsters and .06 on accessories like mag holders. I would not recommend a holster made from .06 very thin and very flimsy.Last edited by Hodgie; November 9th, 2015 at 05:53 PM.

Re: Looking for the thinnest kydex iwb holster out there
I'll second for Blade-Tech.
I haven't tried the new Total Eclipse though it is their new thinner Kydex & I use their old (thicker) Eclipse both IWB & OWB. The Nano is great, (I'm wearing it right now), and the Klipt Ambi is super thin as well, plus the clip is attached below the trigger guard so it is offset and not as wide as others with them on the widest point of the holster... a plus for appendix carry.
I'm sure there are a lot of other great options out there, but Blade-Tech makes nice stuff and the Klipt is maybe $40 so not a great loss if it just goes in the drawer.

This might work.
It comes in various colors and they make it for the PM9.

FIST ultra-thin kydex holster. My wife has been using one of these in an IWB style for the past 10 years with her Glock 26. (She uses the K6 option that they have.)

Check out PJ Holsters -- http://pjholster.com
They are also a PA company. Great little holsters.

Re: Looking for the thinnest kydex iwb holster out there
Thanks for your input and suggestions, it is all greatly appreciated. I wound up finding a Fist holster on eBay. It is supposedly new and never worn and will be arriving at my door for $38. Here is a link to the specific model that it happens to be. http://www.fist-holsters.com/novoerf...48-detail.html I know the velcro adjustable clip will add some bulk but we'll see if it's significant enough to think about something else or not. I'll let you know what I think about it when it arrives. Brian.
