I posted this in another thread but I feel that I need to put it here again.

People like that need not have access to firearms. How many people have seen that video that are on the anti's side? More ammo for them. Makes all of us look like savages that don't care whether or not we kill our friends let alone others.

To the assholes that do these kinds of things: Grow up! Think about the ramifications of what you do if something goes wrong, and for some reason, the bullet doesn't hit it's mark. "Responsible gun owner" should never come out of your mouths when talking about your kind.

I didn't see anything in that video that would tell me its fake.

Its seems to be recorded at a low frames per second, and thats the reason why you don't see the slide back or the flash.

EDIT: On second thought... and second viewing.. yeah... that does look kinda faked.

Smack a blood packet (or ketchup) against your skin and post video of it when you figure out how to get no splatter where it broke.

I'm a little late on this one, but It looks as real as it gets.
I have never been shot myself, but I have seen a few bullet wounds and thats exactly what they look like for the most part.
It's not like the movies, when you get shot there's not much blood involved at all, unless it severs an artery, the heat from the friction and blast kinda cauterize's the wound slightly. And the less it penertrates the less blood leaks out.

But I do think that was one of the dumbest things I ever seen, and I think the guy posting as one of the people who was present when it happened is full of BS, the shooter would have been charged with reckless endangerment at the very least, regardless what state it took place in.

Just my 2 cents...
