I think their pretty equal except for the convenience of removing the holster w/o taking your belt off. (you do mean the snap-on loops right?)

I have C-clips on my IWB. My belt is too stiff to ever bend it enough to undo them from the clips.

I do not do the iwb thing. But I can say that I do not like belt clips on my holsters. Especially the metal ones. They seem to cut into the belt.

So far I've been happy with the steel spring clip on mine. Like someone else said, it does tend to cut into my belt on occasion, but I also wear a belt (with jeans) that I don't mind getting beat up a little.

Probably depends on the holster, I use a Crossbreed Supertuck with Kydex clips. When I first got this thing, I said..."yeah...ok...those are gonna last long." But I take them off every day and put them back on, and they work great!

I have a spring clip on the one I am using IWB right now.
    It works just fine.
That said I will be picking up a IWB with loops for my summer carry which will be showing up in a couple of weeks.

I prefer the clip, if you will (j hook for belt) for easy on-off. Doing the FIST kydex IWB for G27 setup everyday. Super comfortable, very durable, no rubbing, shifting or clothing damage. Smooth draw, yet very secure for everyday wear. Not really sure about the spring clip, I've never worn one for an extended period of time.
