    Default 3/26/09 Deer with Antlers

    Amazingly, yesterday afternoon I saw 6 bucks together in Jamison, Bucks Cty. 5 of the 6 wore headgear !! 4 of the 5 had both!! The biggest, a 10 pt. had a beautiful bright white sweeping rack that could be seen like a beacon.
    And I thought I was looking for sheds last weekend.....LOL

    i have a five point and an eight point coming into the salt block with full head gear. they haven't shed yet. i'll see if i can get a picture tonight.

    This is not unusual in my area (SEPA Delco) and I've seen 'em as late as April. I think the new growth starts in May/June but they don't punch a clock.
