ACORN has been protesting outside the houses of the people that received the bonuses as well. They are basically Obama's army of civil unrest
The first vehicles normally on the scene of a crime are ambulances and police cruisers. If you are armed you have a chance to decide who gets transported in which vehicle, if you are not armed then that decision is made for you.

Be prepared, because someone else already is and no one knows their intent except them.

if they were protesting outside my home - I'd get the lawn chairs out and sun tan in the front lawn - blow my nose with cash and do really snoddy things - the protestors are probably global warming types so I'd let the car run - leave the sprinklers on etc.

maybe hire some dancers to hang out with me while I chill out.

This is not going to end well. Russian Revolution anyone? Instigating hatred against a certain segment of the population. Even bussing the dissenters to the location of the target of hatred. Dear God I hope these people are able to secure their locations.

Maybe burn clubbed baby seals soaked in oil too. I like that.

Really if these mobs turn violent - what could be done other than relocation/protection via police or some security force?

If these AIG guys were my neighbor - I'd stand by them. There's no need to drag people who have some sense of entitlement to places where people have worked for the fruits of their labor and play "the price is right" with them.

This is how people get shot.
