How long for Utah permit?

hey yinz...

does anyone know how long the it takes to get a Utah non-resident permit once you apply?

(i might be going on a backpacking trip to the boundary waters in minnesota in july and would like to get a Utah permit so i can carry on the trip. but, the next FIRE institute Utah permit class isn't until May 22. i'm wondering if i will be able to get the permit by july if i can't get take the class until may 22?)

Another question about the Utah Non-Resident permit, I know that my active duty military ID will cover me for the safety class in florida, will it do the same in Utah?

I can't answer that question.

Your best bet is to contact the Utah BCI directly.

Wife and I got ours today, less than 60 days and she even had to re-submit her prints for fail to sign! Initially sent the paper work June 6th.

Back in February 2008 mine took 52 days from the time I mailed it to them until the time I had the CWP in my hands. (and that was less time than it took me to get my LTCF in Delaware County, PA)

I hope mine will be delivered soon!!! I filed 9 Jun. They hit my credit card for the fees on 18 Jun. Seems like a long wait.

I recieved mine today. 69 days. My buddy recieved his last week but he mailed his in a week before me so his was around the same amount of time.
