    Default Ticks

Just a reminder, spring time brings out the fleas and ticks.

I had dog class today. The trainer was telling us how the ticks are already out in force. He was saying that one owner brought his dog in to be groomed and something like 12 ticks were taken off of the dog.

Once a month, works wonders (compared to the old flea baths and flea collars we used to use):

I've been using the Frontline on Rocky. So far, so good.

However, what puzzles me is that the Vet I've been using here in PA recommends Advantage Plus. He says it just better. I've still been using the Frontline because Rocky hasn't had any fleas or ticks. I kind of figured why fix something that ain't broke.

Does anyone have any experience with an oral type preventative? I would much prefer something of that nature for Rocky being his neck hairs are about 6 inches long.

Oh, and don't forget the heartworm meds too!

We pulled 2 ticks off Ace this past week, they both got bathed and frontline put on them yesterday, time for once a month baths + frontline

its a shame that stuff is so damn expensive.
The first vehicles normally on the scene of a crime are ambulances and police cruisers. If you are armed you have a chance to decide who gets transported in which vehicle, if you are not armed then that decision is made for you.

Be prepared, because someone else already is and no one knows their intent except them.

We have been using "Equisect Fly Repellent". It is a natural type product. It seems to work, except when you get lax about using it.

Here is a place that has more info about it.

And what did you do for the dog?

j/k, it looks from your sentence that you bathed (both of) the ticks!

And just so you know, I make those kind of errors, too. I assume you have another pet aside from Ace.
It is you. You have all the weapons that you need. Now fight. --Sucker Punch
