    Default NFA in Dauphin county

Now I notice the site here lists the county as NFA friendly but has anyone tried recently? I'm thinking about going SBR with a B&T TP9 that I'm about to pick up and wondered if I can get my form signed.

This might even be my first post. After a year or so of membership.

I think you'll have better luck with your answer if you post it in "Firearms" section under NFA topic, those guys are up on all that stuff.

While I don't know about Dauphin, I know Sheriff Kline in Cumberland will sign. Why not just call the Sheriff's office? If you can't get a CLEO, you can always go the trust route. In case you are unfamiliar with gun trusts, you can get up to speed here:

Thanks guys. As soon as I pick it up I'll start calling around to see what I can do.

Those links will certainly be useful.

    See my post:

However, you should still consider a Gun Trust as an alternative depending on what your long term plans are. If you want to allow a family member, such a son or daughter, over the age of 18 to possess your NFA item, the only legal way is through a trust.
