Re: SIG P0RN
Thank you, but that my friend is a Vizsla.
A relative of the wiems, why they are so similar. Some say that the wiems and german shorthairs were bred from vizslas. After WW2, vizslas were very low population as they were used as messengers and line runners.
He's a really good dog. Currently 6 and still full of energy. Thankfully not as much as when he was 1 though. Not afraid of guns or gun shots. I would like to take him hunting sometime. He natually points and flushes. Hes run down rabbit before. Almost got a squirrel or two. Darn trees.

Re: SIG P0RN
BenFoo: Gorgeous Viszla! Not a lot of white for 6. Great Sig, as well. I have a 3 YO Magyar that I call the Red Menace. Still hasn't slowed down. They are great dog, we actually have 4 in the neighborhood.

Re: SIG P0RN
Thanks. He's definitely got some white in his face, muzzle and feet. He'll be 7 in Feb.
Ahhh yes 3. That was a minimum of 1hr running off-leash to stave off the crazy. They have two settings on and off. And on is always full bore. I take him for hikes in the Wiss all the time. He loves it. I try to stay off Forbidden drive. Too many people to enjoy off-leash activities.

Re: SIG P0RN
Wait-they have an off switch???? Actually, mine has gotten more like his mom, who is really mellow (for a V). That means that I only run him every other day, and he can take or leave dog parks. he does love Timber Creek in Jersey, and there is a small beach on bayside of LBI that can wear him out.
Okay, back to guns. How do you like the frontstrap checkering on yours? Oh, and where do you shoot? I belong to SPAG, although it's been a while since the new Juliet Oscar Bravo.
