Looking for a XD-9 near Harrisburg
Hello,
I'm finally ready to get an XD but I'm not sure where to go. Gander Mtn. seems to have just raised their prices on everything and they currently are out of the 9mm. I didn't get to check Bass Pro yet.
Does anyone know of a nice gun shop to check out?
What is the going rate now anyhow? They had the XDM9 for $700 which seems really high to me.

Re: Looking for a XD-9 near Harrisburg
You may want to try giving Trop Gun Shop a call (717-367-5585). I don't recall if they had any XD9's, but when I was there about 2 weeks ago I looked at an XD40 which I believe was priced somewhere around the $550 range. They may even be able to order you one if they don't have any in stock.

Re: Looking for a XD-9 near Harrisburg
Thanks I will give them a call, they were on the list to check out. Gander is out of stock but has the xd9 advertised for $550 I think, they had and XD40 for $599.
I would really like a smaller time operation to get involved with.
Would anyone happen to know if there is any benefits to getting my LTCF before I buy the handgun?

Re: Looking for a XD-9 near Harrisburg
Well, for starters, you're covered if you stop for gas on the way home from buying the handgun. Also, you can start to carry concealed right away if you wish. Definitely no downside to getting the LTCF first, and all gun owners really should have one anyway. Even if it's just to protect yourself against the vehicle carry restrictions.

Re: Looking for a XD-9 near Harrisburg
I have a brand new in the box XD9 subcompact and the extra XD package (took 4 months to get it, 2 more mags and holder) and the really nice PEARCE GRIP Extension for the shorter mags. I got a SA 1911 at the same time and l've decided I like the 1911 so much I don't need the XD 9 SC. Never been fired and comes with 500 rounds of Winchester white box ammo. Can't get any closer, I live in Dillsburg
$600 OBO
PM or email me if interested.

Re: Looking for a XD-9 near Harrisburg
Harrisburg is having a gun show this weekend at the farm show complex. Ill bet there will be at least a dozen or so XDs there so you can price hunt while youre there.
