Blair countyish shoot together part 1

Guys I may join you for a shoot if I can make it. I just joined Hollidaysburg and will be there on the on the 28th for the IDPA new guy class.

I would be up to shooting at Bellwood like to join it since I am looking at possibly getting a Garand through the CMP program. I think Bellwood is on the list and that would satisfy that part.

I'll keep an eye on this!!

Riggles gap is three dollars a person. We could all join bellwood for 10 bucks(cant take credit for this it was big shovels Idea).

Bellwood is now up to $20 for a membership. Just wanted to point that out.

I'm willing to pay it if they have a decent place that we all could go to a couple times this year.

Anyone check on guest policies here in case someone wants to join us for one shoot later in the year?

Southfork Range is $20. They don't mind if you bring a guest once. Just don't take advantage of it. They have a 500 yard range. Lots of the rifle range shooting positions are under roof. They don't have any good target holders. I am in the process of making my own to take down there.

You must be a member at Hollidaysburg period. We don't want or need liability there thats why we charge fifty bucks there, it keeps the riff raff out.

Yes it is in the by laws. You may shoot organized events only as a non member, skeet, trap, sporting clays, idpa are organized. You may not at random go to the club and shoot on rifle or pistol ranges as a non member for "fun" or "practice". You will be removed and told not to come back. I know I remove people weekly.

I would like to join holidaysburg. My catch is I want to see the place and have someone show me around before I join. Can someone point me in that direction. I am not just going to show up there and hope someone can help me or that no one is there so I can wonder around and check the place out.

Portage rev. and pistol club is $10 a year,they have a 500 yard range out in the middle of nowhere.They also have a trap range,100 yard range and indoor pistol range at the club.They let all the riff raff in,present company included.I still haven't found out the rules on guests yet though.
