Re: Hollow Point Ammo Recall
I think that was clearly meant to portray gun owners in a bad light, but I still couldn't help but laugh. They really are masters of satire, even if you know it's your own side they're picking on.
The main thing that bothers me is that it gives people who don't understand firearms and ammunition the wrong idea about self-defense rounds. All most people hear is "deadlier bullets", leaving them wonder why such a thing could possibly be necessary. They don't understand that there are very good reasons for using expanding ammunition for self-defense, which is why police use those rounds themselves.
Still funny though.Last edited by eXceLon; March 17th, 2009 at 09:33 PM.

When you are called a racist, it just means you won an argument with an Obama supporter.

Re: Hollow Point Ammo Recall
I liked the end... going back to beating people with spiked clubs or dragging them behind their cars.
"The rifle is the weapon of democracy. If guns are outlawed, only the government will have guns. Only the police, the secret police, the military. The hired servants of our rulers. Only the government-and a few outlaws. I intend to be among the outlaws." (Edward Abbey, "The Right to Arms," Abbey's Road [New York, 1979])
I have my rifle. Do you?

If you noticed when they were showing the 3D model of the inferno rounds, the 3D image was flailing its arms and screaming, pretty funny.
