    Question ZRT Equipment...

    What do you think...Kukri or Machete?

    BOTH!!!! Actually, I think I like my Kukri more than the machette. I guess it depends on the situation I am in. I use my machette, mainly for chopping fatwood..I can't think of the name of it but its black, about 1/4 thick and has a very nice rubber handle..same manufacture as my kukri and spec-ops blade.Damn, this bugs me, I can't think of the name..Ontario, thats it...!

    Relatively inexpensive but extemely rugged!! I have had the machette for about 9 years now, the spec ops and kukri for about 5. The machette gets 90% use while camping. Haven't had the need to use the others yet, but then again I have knife "safe queens" LOTS!! Gerber, Ontario, spyderco, Buck and the list goes on...

    True, kukri better for head cropping and machette for vegetation.
